Save the date. The Sullivan County Historical Society’s Annual Meeting and Dinner will be held on Sunday, October 19 at 2 p.m. at Casa Mia Restaurant in Hurleyville—a change of venue this year.

We will honor former Assemblywoman Aileen Gunther as History Maker and the late Neversink Historian Carol Smythe as History Preserver.

An added feature this year will be a raffle of our “Autumn’s Medley of Apple Delight” Basket.  The basket contains a $50 gift card to both Shoprite and Walmart, 4 bottles of Seminary Hill Special Ciders, and an assortment of apple jam, butter, apple syrup, pancake, muffin and donut mixes, spiced apple cider and hot cider K-cups. Retail Value of the basket is $350.

Tickets will be $10 each or 3 for $20 and can be purchased at the dinner or in advance by sending your donation to the Sullivan County Historical Society, PO Box 247, Hurleyville, NY 12747. Your tickets will then be placed in the drawing for you.
