Sullivan County Historical Society will host a book talk by local author, Lily Barrish Levner, Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 2 p.m. at the museum in Hurleyville.
Voices of Survivors has moved to Liberty Museum & Arts Center, 46 S. Main St., Liberty for Sunday, Sept. 29 (due to a power failure in Hurleyville). Begins at 2:30 p.m.
A reception will be followed by a panel discussion at 6 p.m. “Legacies of the Belgica: 125 Years of Polar Science and Exploration.” Panelists include Dr. Oana Marcu, co-founder of the Racovitza Foundation (racovitza-foundation.org/en/), and Dr. Sarah Pickman, an independent historian.
