"The surveyors of trunk line No. 4 are rushing the work along very rapidly. At present they are at work between Livingston Manor and Roscoe.
"An effort is being made to eliminate the section of road at Old Morsston from the trunk line.
"Two surveys have been made one beginning at the Ross place now occupied by E O Van Wagner and the other starting near the home of H Parks.
"Both roads run through the Ackerly and McGrath farms returning to the present highway near the home of Augustus Mussman.
"The change will make a more direct route and will eliminate from the trunk line one of the most dangerous sections of road in Sullivan County on the proposed road."
